The environment is in peril.  Pollution, decimation of species, and global warming pose a threat to humans and all living creatures and plants. The Center for The Environment, Science and Economics seeks to open dialog about these threats to the environment through education, dialogue and action.  The past, present and future projects of the Center include an environmental dialogue series, a conference on sustainable investing, Dallas Green Expo and the Green Source DFW Network.

Green Source DFW Network

The Memnosyne Foundation’s Green Source DFW Network is a collaborative venture to promote, inform and educate the public about green living.  Green Source provides a website for current local news about the environment, up to date discussions on environmental policy in Texas, centralized information on green organizations and publicity on environmental community events.  It includes a comprehensive, online directory of green businesses.  The directory will have both listings and display ads. An important goal of Green Source DFW is to create a constituency to support a future Dallas Green Expo. www.GreenSourceDFW.org.

Dallas Green Expo

Memnosyne Foundation has proposed the first-ever Dallas Green Expo to position Dallas as a “Green City” and enhance its image as a leader in sustainable living,. This two day educational event would give attendees an opportunity to learn about the people, organizations, products and services promoting sustainable living. Dallas Green Expo offers businesses a way to become part of an ever-expanding green marketplace.  For more on the future of the expo go to www.DallasGreenExpo.com.
